How to Sleep Better Clinic: Faster Sleep™ The Insomnia Solution

Faster Sleep™- The Insomnia Solution

Initial Consultation Fee £120

Effective help for poor sleep is closer than you think.

If you find yourself lying awake at night, waking repeatedly, or never feeling truly rested, you’re not alone — and the solution almost certainly isn’t just another list of sleep hygiene tips, a new App or health wearable.

Faster Sleep™ is a real world practical program, that bridges the gap between knowledge and embodied practice.

Faster-Sleep™ integrates CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia) with embodied practices. Creating a CEBT-I model, Cognitive-Embodied-Behavioural-Training for Insomnia.

Faster-Sleep™ Is designed for people who have tried CBTi, still can’t sleep well and want to go deeper.

Since 2021 it has helped clients across the UK reclaim their sleep — combining the most effective, evidence-based approaches available, including somatic techniques that work on the body, not just the mind.

Who is behind Faster Sleep™?

Faster Sleep™ was created by Jill Wigmore-Welsh, a qualified psychotherapist and physiotherapist with specialist expertise in somatic practices, and mind-body trauma treatment. That dual background is rare — and it’s exactly why Faster Sleep™ works where other programmes don’t.

Most sleep programmes address either the psychological or the physical side of poor sleep. Faster Sleep™ addresses both. Because for most people who struggle to sleep, mind, body and whole life are involved.

What makes Faster Sleep™ different from other sleep programmes?

Faster-Sleep™ integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) — the gold standard, clinically recommended treatment for chronic sleep problems — with somatic practices (Somnimoves™) and trauma directed techniques that address regulation of the nervous system.

Many people lie awake not because of bad habits, but because their nervous system hasen’t learned how to feel safe enough to rest. Faster Sleep™ works at that level.

Faster Sleep™ and neurodivergent sleep challenges

Sleep difficulties are significantly more common in people with ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence — and standard sleep advice frequently doesn’t work for neurodivergent nervous systems. Faster Sleep™ has been developed with that in mind, and has helped many neurodivergent people find an approach to sleep that actually fits how their brain and body work.

What do good sleepers actually do differently?

People who fall asleep easily and sleep through the night have built specific safety habits, thought patterns, and physical cues that most poor sleepers have never been taught. Faster Sleep™ shows you exactly what those are — and how to make them your own.

What causes chronic sleep problems — and how do you fix them for good?

If poor sleep has become a pattern, there are usually several factors keeping it in place: sleep anxiety, an overactive nervous system, an irregular schedule, a racing mind at bedtime, or habits that quietly work against your body clock. Faster Sleep™ identifies and addresses those root causes directly — so you stop managing symptoms and start sleeping well long-term.

What you’ll learn on the Faster Sleep programme:

◆ Why you struggle to fall asleep — and the specific changes that resolve it

◆ How CEBT-I techniques rewire unhelpful thoughts and beliefs about sleep

◆ Gentle movement practices that calm the nervous system and prepare the body for rest

◆ How to address the nervous system regulation connection between trauma, tension, and poor sleep

◆ How to stop waking in the night and get back to sleep quickly

◆ How to reset your sleep schedule and build a rhythm your body trusts

◆ Long-term habits that protect and deepen your sleep for years ahead

Who is Faster Sleep for?

Faster-Sleep™ is particularly well suited to people who:

◆ Have struggled with sleep for months or years and feel nothing has worked

◆ Suspect that anxiety, trauma, stress, or physical tension are part of the picture

◆ Are neurodivergent and have found standard sleep advice unhelpful or impossible to apply

◆ Want a structured, evidence-based programme rather than generic tips

◆ Are asking “why can’t I sleep even when I’m exhausted?”, “why won’t my brain switch off at night?” or “how do I stop waking at 3am?”

How do I book for Faster Sleep™ help and where can I be seen — online or in person?

If you’re based within reach of Reading,  we can work together at my practice in Reading.

Or we can work online. I consult across the whole of the UK via Zoom telehealth sessions.

For a clear understanding of what may be affecting your sleep, you can explore detailed explanations of insomnia, circadian rhythm disruption and related conditions within my specialist sleep disorders information. From there, a structured, evidence-based CEBT-I pathway is outlined here on this page the Faster Sleep programme.

If your sleep patterns are shaped by ADHD or autism, a more neurodivergent specialised approach is described within my neurodivergent sleep support pages.

You can access treatment at my Reading-based sleep clinic, at 218 Tilehurst Road, Reading, Berkshire (Opposite Prospect Park) and I also consult online across the UK.

If you like working alone and want a start today you can order my Sleep journal (published 2020) have it delivered to you wherever you are, and use it to record your sleep habits, mood, life events and more. And you can trial my re-released ,from 2009, sleep hypnosis recording, available all over the world.

These are practical minimal cost starting points so you can take action.

If you’re interested you can also explore the support I provide for complex or overlapping conditions within the page on specialist conditions  I work with.
