The Wellbeing Questionnaire-badger

2nd July 2020 By Amazon62

85-112

How close to burning out are you?

You express a high amount of job-related stress and may have begun to burn out.

Mark each question on which you scored a 4 or above and rank them in order of their effect on you— beginning with the ones that bother you most. For at least your top three, make a list of ways you can reduce the stresses involved and take action to improve your attitude and/or situation.

If your body is reflecting this stress, get a medical check-up.

Consider signing up with us to study MBRS, stress reduction, self-care, mindset & burnout prevention processes.

Learning some skills in meditation, time management & journaling would help you to regain balance.

What protection energy do you have?

Your animal energy is Badger:

Your inner spirit reminds you to be fearless & bold

But, not so fast because, when Badger energy appears, it is to protect you.

To remind you that somewhere near is anger, aggression, and maybe some emotional abuse.

You know argumentative behaviour, will only result in a poor outcome for you.

Think about your life, perhaps someone close to you has excess badger energy.

Or maybe through some trauma, perhaps that energy is pent up in you.

Either way now is the time to regulate. To allow the energy to pass through and out of you.

Take action to remove yourself from stress, create a boundary and to be in nature.

Go for a hike or brisk walk, shake off your energy, dance or with a therapist learn how to let it out.

Then, you can return to the situation heart centred.

The appearance of Badger energy serves as a reminder.

If you have been recklessly pursuing something that keeps eluding you, the message is that it is time for you to let it go.

Instead, start to focus on something else rather than being obsessed with what you want now.

Be confident because better, more beautiful opportunities, will be the result when you release some of that Badger energy intensity.

Instead, harness your energy and apply it consistently to the pursuit of your sole purpose passion and dreams

Sit for a while and feel your energy.

If you have any health problems, put yourself first & seek medical advice.

However, feel confident that with inspiration, and discovering new soul and purpose skills you have powerful potential to attract your dream

Where are you on the wellness spiral?

You are at purple, the second level in the lower tier of the wellness spiral.

Purple signifies blood relationships and life involving mysticism in a magical and scary world.

Purple life can be mysterious and frightening with a need to please unseen spirits and join with others in a group.

Purple keeps the spirits happy, and the tribe nest warm and safe.

Purple recognises the desires of the spirit beings and mystical signs.

Purple shows allegiance to brothers and sisters in the clan.

Purple beliefs are preserved in sacred objects, events and memories observed rites of passage, seasonal cycles, tribal customs, and corporate tribes

The Body Cowboys are not OK in the OK Corral of Health

22nd June 2018 By Amazon62

Have you noticed there are things you don’t consciously process very much day to day?

You’ll be familiar with your body and the way you feel.

What being you is like, is almost indescribable.

You’ll, just sort of know how your body typically looks, feels and responds.

If it’s all within certain boundaries, you probably won’t think of it.

It’s not just your body, but your mind and your thinking.

You’ll pick up quickly if your mind is troubled, or you have pain or a racing heart rate.

It’s the sort of familiarity that only makes you think “hmm something is wrong” when something isn’t right.

It’s a kind of unconscious competence.

Self-knowledge which is hard to explain.

So, if you feel well, you’re unlikely don’t get up every day and do a whole standard set of body/mind tests. You’ll rely on your intuition to know if you’re OK or not OK.

You probably only do tests to monitor what’s happening if you notice something isn’t right. You won’t take your temperature and blood pressure every day. But if your intuition says you might have a temperature, then you’ll do a test.

Intuitively, what you will pick up is when you experience signs and sensations that don’t fit. Then your unconscious will deliberately bring it to your attention.

If things don’t add up, and that goes on for a while, and you don’t understand what’s up, then it will make you worry.

Say you’re passing through an average day, but you are not responding like you, then it’s normal to have thoughts and feelings of uncertainty and fear.

If that goes on for a time, it impacts you at a deeper level. Because familiarity with how you’d typically expect yourself to be is part of your identity.

So when you respond different, it impacts your identity, which is quite a big deal.

People who come to see me say things like “It’s just not like me to feel this way” or “I ‘m so worried, I just don’t know what’s happening to me”.

When you work with me, the aim is to make it a positive experience.

You benefit from gaining more power and sense of being in control.

Your potential to help yourself heal is enormous.

But your chance of doing the wrong thing is big too.

It’s the same for everyone.

I’ve helped thousands of people who’ve already consulted another medical specialist before me.

But about everyone says, “I want to know what’s wrong with me and what I can do about it”.

99% of those people came to their consultation, feeling vulnerable and powerless.

Fear is never a right place to be mainly where your health is concerned.

If you feel scared, then you are prey to imagining all manner of nasty things that could be wrong.

That’s why it’s not only essential to seek medically qualified help quickly.

But also, to be sure that you’re not leaving a consultation feeling like anyone but you.

You’re not the name of a label; you’re you.

Your problem is likely to require you to make some change, to learn and put into practice new skills.

If you walk out of a consultation with only a drug prescription, then you are missing out.

Let’s get that sorted, and you can learn dozens of ways you can change your body/mind

Call me to start work today.

Maybe it’s likely some skill learning can  help you feel better, move better and enjoy life more

Clumsy from CRPS & Chronic Pain

4th March 2018 By Amazon62

Sometimes with chronic pain & CRPS you become clumsy. You drop things, trip over and move awkward. Being clumsy may be new, before getting unwell you could have been very coordinated sporty and moved fluidly. Research shows that when you have CRPS, or Chronic Pain your body image is different from how it was before you got ill. Change in body image impacts fine movement, which leads to clumsiness.

So what is Body Image?

Body image is the perception you have of your physical self.

Redeveloping your body image is a critical element of your recovery.

We include improving your body image because body image, is essential for day to day self-use.

Without proper body image, you will have difficulty doing day to day activities, walking, driving, working, sport.

So does everyone need it?

Having the right body image and body awareness is a vital skill

Your body image and recognition supports your conscious day to day experience and allows you to be able to carry out skilled, coordinated body activity.

To interact with the environment, you need to use your body.

Every thought, emotion, every intention, every movement, is a product of your brain and nervous systems physical state.

These experiences are patterns of brain activity which scientists often refer to as maps.

Through your whole life, you gather information about your body and creating your sense of your body image.

Learning began from very early in your development as a baby.

Over time, as you interacted with your surrounding environment, as you undertook different activities, as you progressed into adult life, you gathered a lot of information.

Does Body Image development vary from person to person?

Yes !!!

Everybody has a slightly different way to develop this capability.

Plus, everyone is born with a slightly different natural talent.

Everyone has natural skills that make them who they are.

Some people are naturally more gifted dancers, who move in tune with having rhythm, some are early talkers or early walkers or readers or listeners.

If you take time to watch a group of children playing, young children at pre-school, you would notice differences.

Some youngsters would be more naturally physically capable.

Some seem to be more coordinated, with better and earlier developed eye-hand control, than others.

Some would love to climb and tumble and jump, and others would be less physically able.

Differences are entirely natural, because, for various reasons, different people have different skills.

We all have the skill to sense and feel our body, but this doesn’t come so naturally to some people, who may need some training.

If you went and watched the same group inside a classroom, you would notice other differences.

Some children would be writing their letters earlier, making more specific shapes.

Some would be sounding words out younger and beginning to read.

Difficulties with reading and translating the forms on a page into sounds are not unusual.

Dyslexia, is a learning difficulty that primarily affects the skills involved in accurate and fluent word reading and spelling.

Developmental coordination disorder (DCD), also known as Dyspraxia, is a condition affecting physical coordination.

DCD causes a child to perform less well than expected in daily activities for his or her age, and appear to be clumsy.

These characteristics don’t disappear.

But with appropriate skill training and dedication, someone with dyslexia can learn to read and spell and someone with DCD can learn to move less clumsily.

We are all somewhere, on some spectrum, in our ability

So apart from having different traits, how do the capabilities arise?

Babies have to learn how to accurately discriminate among their body parts.

Babies and children develop an ability to differentiate and to gain an understanding of the nature of their body, and this occurs in different ways.

They have to develop knowledge of body parts.

This means being able to accurately know they have different body parts.

They have to learn they have a trunk, head, legs, arms, fingers, toes and to be able to locate the nearest parts of their body and furthest away parts.

After this comes the knowledge, of what they can do with the body parts.

To know which portions can be bent, straightened, gripped, opened, pushed through, pulled with and where they move.

As a baby and young child, you developed this capability.

You had to learn how to recognise parts of a given action.

You learned how your body has an actual potential for performing.

First, you learned to make crude attempts at bending straightening, controlling all limbs.

Then you became more expert at managing one arm and another then all four limbs together doing different things.

Think of a baby learning to feed, know where their mouth is, how to reach and pick up food, that’s all learned.

Children learn how to make the different parts of their body, move efficiently and this involves body awareness.

Body Awareness refers to the ability to organise and reorganise your body parts for a particular movement and action, then make the actual performance of a movement task

Alongside all of these, is the development of spatial awareness, which is part of a perceptual-motor development and included within body image.

So what is Spatial Awareness?

Spatial awareness means that you know how much space your body occupies and its relation to external objects.

You develop this through a variety of movement activities.

With practice and experience, children progress from their world of locating everything in external space relative to themselves to the development of an objective frame of reference.

In practice, this means learning to be able to know how far apart different objects are and directions. Children need to learn in front, behind, side to side, north, south, left, and right.

An activity such as driving a car involves a lot of spatial awareness because there are lots of objects, some moving, some still.

As a driver, you need to know where everything is relative to everything else.

As an adult, your spatial awareness is usually adequate.

But, ability varies from person to person.

For example take the activity of reading a road map while travelling through unfamiliar territory.

Many people become uncertain of whether they’re moving north south east or west.

And decisions regarding which way to turn sometimes seem to necessitate placing oneself on the map to project a mental image of direction options.

This part of awareness also has a relationship with laterality, which is an internal awareness of the various dimensions of your body with regard to their location and direction.

Many people rely on an external tech GPS system because their own internal human software GPS has poor programming.

In other words, you need know your left from your right, so you know which direction is turning left and which direction is turning right to complete the task of turning a circle right or looking left.

Some adults have a lot of difficulties knowing left from right; others find this easy.

In the context of aiding recovery from injury, trauma and chronic pain this is important.

Everyone who has an injury starts with different skills and capability

The concept of laterality as being necessary is basic.

So it’s difficult to believe that we need to learn this ability in childhood.

Some people never grew this ability to high skill.

After you have an injury you can sometimes lose the ability to know your left from your right.

Another aspect of body awareness and movement is directionality.

This is the external projection of laterality it gives dimensions to objects in space.

People who have difficulties with directionality will often encounter problems in discriminating between various letters of the alphabet.

If you have weak directionality, you write and see words upside down and feel confused when it comes to reading.

Direction awareness is a developmental process and relies on both maturation and experience,

Sometimes people with chronic pain have lost their skill to know the dimensions and position of objects in space and their body relation to them.

What about brains and maps and nervous system?

If someone has a stroke or brain injury, it’s different from developing chronic pain.

But sometimes people with chronic pain can present with what seems to be a  problem that people have after a brain injury.

After a brain injury people often have an inability to tell their left from right.

There are many reasons people with pain could develop this.

One possible explanation may be what is termed ‘fear avoidance’.

People with CRPS and chronic pain often find that movement seems to trigger pain.

Even when you’ve learned the best pain science education, it’s still difficult to convince yourself to move when it hurts.

Deep inside all of us, we have a subconscious protective system.

This system is running all the time and signals us to stop what we are doing when it perceives we are in danger.

You don’t do this consciously; it’s subconscious.

When you have a feeling of fear, of worry, of being under threat and danger, then your whole self is highly aroused.

You develop sensitivity to the slightest shift, any change.

Your sensitisation can amplify your feeling of pain.

The outcome can be that you tend to avoid moving, sometimes you may freeze, stop movement altogether.

Freezing and not moving is a protective response.

Unfortunately, staying still doesn’t help you heal & recover.

Unfortunately any lack or reduction of motor activity and cutting back on using our habits has a knock on effect onto our neural maps.

When we don’t move this leads to the brain and nervous system forgetting what to do, and how to do it.

You lose the neural map of the activity; you blank it.

It’s like the way you can mislay your keys or your phone, and you can’t remember where you put it.

Then when you find the keys, you remember what you were doing, and why the keys ended up where you found them.

Can maps be relearned?

Answer: YES !!!!

Research studies have shown that people with chronic pain can regain their ability to differentiate left and right and perform movement activity.

Of course what we term normal, is relative to an individuals natural capability prior to the incident that initiated their path to their current place of chronic pain.

Research on body image and neural maps has been ongoing for decades.

There is plenty of evidence that reprogramming either recreates old maps or makes new ones.

If you’ve had pain for more than 12 weeks, we refer to it as chronic pain.

Conditions such as #CRPS #IBS #BackPain #TMJ #Fibromyalgia include the symptom of chronic pain.

It’s reasonable to assume that because everyone with chronic pain will have adapted movement, they will have alterations in body image and neural maps.

Fortunately, body image, body awareness, special awareness and directionality can improve with a good precision fit reprograming, adapted to fit you and your state.

You can make changes and improve your system.

You are not stuck with poor maps; you can re-engineer your brain & nervous software to have different ones and new ones.

Plus you can do this no matter what age you are.

Anyone can learn to do this.

The main requirement, is an interest in learning and a commitment to helping yourself.

Re-engineering human systems is my specialism

That’s programs of thinking, words, feeling and movement.

There are plenty of evidence supported approaches that can help you improve, especially if you have a painful disease.

You want a solution to your problem, and I get you that change.

You are unique, so you need a protocol that not only caters to your preferences but gives you the highest possible chance of achieving what you want.

Your situation needs help so you get a quality recovery.

But it’s more than that.

Life isn’t about getting over health problems.

Life is for living to your full wealthy potential.

You want a rapid return to your work

A platform to live a full enriched life.

If you have #chronicpain or #CRPS and would like to improve your body image, and your ability to be able to carry out skilled, coordinated body activity, then please get in touch.

Improving body image is just one thing you can learn to do.

It’s also one part of a much bigger protocol which includes psychological, biomedical, social and life purpose activities.

Who Do I Work With?

13th February 2018 By Amazon62

Jill Wigmore-Welsh : Who Do I Work With?

Are you a DIY person, are you someone who explores all the time, wanting to find out how things work, how things tick, what goes on in the world?

Not just the outside of yourself world. The world of how to build a house. How to design a building. How to make bricks, what the materials are, where do they come from, how do they mine them and where? What the living standards are of the people who live in that country?

But also, your internal world. The world where you wonder about yourself and your interaction with others. Do you go deep and feel inside your body and notice tensions and responses and reactions and emotions as they rise?

A state of being where you enjoy having conversations about global perspectives on life and the universe. Explore internal, external relationships between family members and friendships at work and how to evolve your business.

I call that being a DIY person. Someone who’s interested in the flat pack of life and how you can make and create from pure nature. How you can transform seemingly everyday words into incredibly passionate phrases and sentences that touch the hearts of the people who read them

Just recently I’ve been told that DIY is wrong. When I’ve wanted to discover how to make a website, how to make a membership site, how to make a subscription part of my website, how to take better photographs and how to write better copy.

I’ve been told this is the wrong way to do things.

I’ve been told that I should employ somebody else to do it because they’re better. That I would get it done more quickly and better if I hired someone else to do it, that it’s cheaper, overall, and easier to outsource to people who are experts.

That’s true if you have the funding, the resources available to pay for the very, very best. Because the very, very best of everything, the best in quality is always more expensive. Because people who have invested so much time learning how to be good, do things with effortless ease, they give profound quality.

But, when I’m exploring for myself to design my website and make it, it’s so I understand how the process goes, what flows together. There is a need to know how it all works before I can imagine a project, visualize it, live it breathe it, design it then ask someone to build it. Are you the same, are you someone who wants to know how things work, so you know the how of creating something?

Have you always been someone who takes things to pieces and puts them back together again? Choosing words and rearranging them, taking paint, and remixing and applying, capturing views and objects, and looking from a different perspective, flavours, scents, mixing your senses. Are you an artist, an artisan who likes to repair and renew, create rather than throw away and replace?

If you were to come to visit me and we were to go somewhere that I love, it would be we went to an auction house.

Piles of things in boxes stacked high, that someone else has thrown away, need to be rid of, need to raise funds from by selling. Everything sits, waiting to be adopted again and used and loved.

We would wander around and look at what some people might consider to be junk and find, nearly hidden among things, rare treasures, mysterious objects as they scream “transform me into something beautiful.” A decorative artifact for a house or the garden or something to wear or read or see.

Antiques, I love vintage I love old things with a history. I collect old Henriette Willebeek Le Mair, postcards and prints and first edition books because I like the whimsical nature of her drawings and colours. And I love and adore to read her own personal story, not just the stories in the books but the story of her life.

It’s the same when you bring a problem to me. Something that is pressing and problematic that is causing you significant distress. I’m curious I listen hard because I’m interested in discovering the aspects of you that are holding you back from changing.

What are those parts of your life, those things that cause you to recycle all the time? Those parts of you that keep going back in time into your lousy failure memories as if they’re happening today? Then re-living those things that happened and creating a bad day today like the one you had all those years ago.

It happens when people have pain. It happens when people have had trauma, and it occurs when people have illness and injury. When you have an accident when you don’t feel well when somebody in the family is sick, it’s confusing, and it’s a problem.

That’s when you turn to me and being DIY I love to explore and discover all the little treasures and pieces that are there. Then help you to fit them back together so that you can move through life as a highly restored individual. Able not only to function in life but with love for those cracks.

When you have something that’s broken to have those very cracks filled with the most beautiful gold makes their decoration into a feature.

When you look at yourself in the mirror what you must see are not wrinkles and scars, but amazing stories and history and resilience and the incredible power of yourself that you must remember.

As a DIY, I work with people who enjoy vintage who enjoy restoration and quality. Folk who are curious about them self and why they are behaving as they are today. What it was about the past they hold on to, that makes their today?

To change you need to have a beacon shining light ahead of you that is pulling you forward. Something so powerful and appealing that it fills you with passion. You want it so badly that desire is more significant than the struggle you will go through to get it. Your willing to commit and know it will be excruciatingly harsh, but the reward is worth it.

It’s tough, and its hard work, but winners keep on. They keep on and if they fall, fail, get injured they feel beaten. But after they’ve gathered their broken pieces of self and body back up again they resume the struggle. They fall and climb up, they keep struggling, training, and learning. They get better and stronger and more powerful and more capable of performing the actions required to reach the goal that they desire.

I strive for that and assist other people when they want that as well. My life is dedicated to personal improvement, to the service that I provide, to quality provision. So, I study, learn, listen, make mistakes, fall, rise, and repeat the process.

My passion, my beacon is helping people to harness their struggle. It’s like reaching out and guiding them a little towards their lighthouse. Sometimes they have lost their way but once they spot their bright shining vision and mission their inner spark ignites, and they are power passion fuelled and drive forwards

In some ways, it’s easier to work with you if you have already begun to understand that you create your own thoughts and feelings. You comprehend that other people don’t make you feel angry or upset. That your self-belief isn’t something that you were born with and that you can change it. That action is what gets things done, not thinking about problems.

Some people haven’t reached this point, and if you are not at that stage of readiness to work with me one to one, then that’s why my website includes useful knowledge tips. Courses you can access, audios you can listen to which will help you reset your compass and upgrade your thinking

What would be the benefit to you to explore how you can have the magic that seems to take place in other people’s lives? Those events which appear to happen to others by luck or coincidence. The way that they make a significant recovery overcome pain, manage to live the best life despite poor health.

I’m creative and love DIY, taking problems and turning them into something completely different. It’s a powerfully present positive way to work and live which has an infectious component. The whole process is like blowing air under an injured person’s wings and helping them rediscover how to fly. How to leave their wounded grounded state behind and re-join the migrating soaring flock.
