Expert in Bone Health | Osteoporosis & Osteopenia Support London & Reading
Perhaps you have chronic pain, sleep problems or emotional health troubles that are interfering with your quality of life and you’ve been hearing about hypnotherapy.
Clinical hypnotherapy can help you manage your stress, anxiety, fears, struggles with poor sleep, chronic pain, IBS and gut–brain health.
I’ve been in practice as Hypnotherapist since 2007, and first began to study and practice somatic hypnosis approaches in 1994.
I’ve helped people who reported they felt stuck, were experiencing persistent anxiety, had low confidence, ongoing stress, and all kinds of limiting phobias.
Perhaps you find yourself lying awake, overthinking, worrying, not managing your pain or digestive problems.
Hypnosis research suggested that “.. hypnosis works best when used as a structured, goal-oriented process guided by a trained professional who understands both the psychological and practical aspects of hypnotic suggestion”.
I’m a fully trained health care professional registered with the HCPC, a Level 7 certified Coach registered with the Association for Coaching and a Master Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming since 2010.
My qualifications span both the psychological, psychotherapeutic and the grounded practical aspects of hypnotic suggestion.
In 1994 I commenced a four year training in somatics that integrated hypnotic suggestion. In 1929 the founder of the work (Moshe Feldenkrais) published a translation of Émile Coué’s best-selling book on autosuggestion, The Practice of Autosuggestion. He added added his own original chapters exploring how imagination and the unconscious can be harnessed to proactively improve abilities. Moshe Feldenkrais did not explicitly practice or teach hypnosis but his somatic movement work shares profound conceptual parallels with hypnotherapy.
There is also a parallel between the start of most awareness through movement lessons, and the three stage induction process used in hypnotherapy.
Individuals find hypnosis helps individuals calm and prepare for elective surgery, dental treatment, childbirth. To manage their stress and mental health and pain.
Perhaps you have tried many different approaches before, but the changes have not lasted.
If that is the case, clinical hypnotherapy may provide a different way of working with the mind–body connection, helping you move toward feeling calmer, more confident and more in control of your health and life.
Maybe I can help you.
Over the years I have helped thousands of clients in my hypnotherapy clinics in Reading and London and online. Supporting people with a wide range of challenges including chronic pain, sleep problems, digestive difficulties linked to the gut–brain axis, anxiety and confidence issues who want to feel less pain, sleep better and be calm and confident.
My work uses an integrated approach, drawing on the most effective elements of clinical hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and coaching underpinned by my core training as a registered healthcare professional. This allows us to work with both the mind and body, particularly when problems such as pain, insomnia, stress or IBS are influenced by the nervous system.

Problems I Work With
Over the years I have helped many individuals living in Reading and across the UK, with a wide range of challenges affecting both physical and emotional wellbeing.
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I have particular experience supporting people with diagnosed health conditions and persistent symptoms.
Including problem insomnia, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, IBS, anxiety, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and other forms of primary or secondary chronic pain.
If you are looking for a Clinical Hypnotherapist in Reading UK to help with these types of problems, please do get in touch to find out how hypnotherapy may be able to support you.
I also work with people who want help with stress management, confidence, weight management, menopause symptoms, pregnancy and childbirth preparation, and other life situations where anxiety or self-doubt may be holding them back.
Many clients seek hypnotherapy because they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking or behaviour. Once we work together to change underlying beliefs and emotional responses, people often find their confidence, relationships and overall wellbeing improve naturally.
Hypnotherapy can also be very effective for helping people break unwanted habits and develop healthier behaviours. The brain and nervous system learn habits quickly, but with the right approach they can also learn new patterns just as effectively.
Working face-to-face in my Reading clinic at 218 Tilehurst Road, Reading, Berkshire (opposite Prospect Park) or across the UK online.
I help individuals create lasting change in areas such as stress management, anxiety, confidence, performance and personal development. Some clients come to improve their health, while others want to become more confident in their careers, presentations or business activities.
I also see many people who feel overwhelmed by over-thinking, worry, procrastination or persistent fears and want to regain a sense of calm and control.
It is always a privilege to help clients across Reading and West Berkshire create positive changes in their health, confidence and lives through clinical hypnotherapy.
How do I know if you can help me and what does it cost?
Before you choose to go ahead with a session, I offer a no-obligation, free phone chat. This enables me to understand your issues and aims, as well as giving you a chance to ask any questions you may have. During the call, I will ask you several questions, posed in such a way that you’ll start to chip away at your problem, breaking it down, re-assessing what you want.
